You recognize you are counting down the times till Spirit Halloween opens and launches the, “I-can-legitimately-get-excited-about-Halloween” season.
Let’s have a mini Halloween day. Make some treats, placed on the flicks, and darken the room.
Some folks name them Pet Chow, however I name them Muddy Buddies. Irrespective of the way you say it, they’re the BEST film snack EVER.
9 cups Chex cereal (any variety)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted.
1⁄2 cup easy peanut butter, melted.
1⁄4 cup butter, melted.
1 -2 teaspoon vanilla.
1 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar.
Soften the chips, peanut butter and butter. Add vanilla. Toss cereal in it. Now, put that glop right into a bag of powdered sugar and shake exhausting.
To me, sweet bark is the final word Halloween yummer. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Unfold out small pretzels, peanuts, sweet corn, or no matter you want. Pour melted chocolate over it. Chill. Break aside.
Now, the flicks….
This is some good film combos –
Halloween, Halloween II, and Halloween H20
(basic slasher style)
Illusion, Hellraiser, and Military of Darkness
The Haunting, The Awakening, The Changeling
(non-violent, gothic, romantic)
Trick R Deal with, Cat’s Eye, and Trilogy of Terror
Evening of the Dwelling Lifeless, The Factor From One other World, Creature From the Black Lagoon
(basic black and white terror)
Dracula, The Wolf Man, and The Invisible Man
(Common basic monsters)
Glad Mini Halloween!
